Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Operations Director to join a respected and established care provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior operational leader to take on a pivotal role overseeing multiple services across the West Midlands region.
This is a regional, field-based role, and the successful candidate must live within the West Midlands due to the need to attend services at short notice — particularly for urgent site visits or CQC meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee operational delivery and performance across a portfolio of services
Ensure services remain compliant with CQC regulations and company standards
Support, develop and lead regional and local management teams
Drive improvements in quality, occupancy, and staff engagement
Act as the senior point of escalation for operational or compliance issues
Report directly to the Executive or Senior Leadership Team

What We’re Looking For:

Proven track record in a senior multi-site role (such as Regional Manager, Operations Manager, or Director level)
Strong understanding of CQC requirements and the ability to lead services to ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’
A proactive, hands-on leader who can drive improvement and support teams effectively
Based within the West Midlands and flexible to travel across the region at short notice
Full UK driving licence
